Pricing Update

Hello! Based on your feedback, we have updated the 5-minute pricing feed on the RRTP website to provide you with the most appropriate information to reflect the current hour's potential price. The "current hour average" price is the real-time average of the current hour's 5-minute prices. You can still access the individual 5-minute prices by clicking on the "5-Minute Prices" button at the top of the pricing graph.

In addition, we changed the language of the "predicted" hourly prices to "day-ahead" hourly prices. PJM has two hourly pricing markets: real-time and day-ahead. The "predicted" prices are not an actual predictor of real-time hourly prices, but rather a different pricing market (day-ahead) that is often a good indicator of what the real-time prices could be for the next day.
